This finely crafted Dimbath/Gill X7 cello, based on the Francesco Ruggeri pattern, offers exceptional value through its mature, open voice and remarkable responsiveness. A collaboration between Bernd Dimbath's acoustic engineering research and his Gill workshop, the X7 model demonstrates the workshop's ability to create professional-level instruments at accessible price points. Drawing on their renowned expertise, these cellos incorporate the same sophisticated craftsmanship found in their prestigious E-class instruments, while honoring the classic Ruggeri pattern that has made Dimbath instruments respected among professional players.

This model uniquely bears both the B. Dimbath brand stamp inside and near the endpin. The innovative manufacturing process involves constructing multiple front and back plates simultaneously, then optimally pairing them using Dimbath's revolutionary acoustical engineering guidelines. This approach has yielded instruments comparable in quality to Dimbath's C-Class cellos at a significantly lower cost.

Cello comes with a lightweight hybrid case.
